I love a fresh start, a clean slate, a “before” that precedes an exciting “after.”
Even though we can start anew any time, there’s something special about the dawn of a new year — especially after all that 2020 brought. While we can’t expect to have gleaned all the wisdom and insights from the past year — that’ll take more time — I do hope we’re intentional about what we want to bring into 2021.
If you’re like me, you have a profoundly new appreciation for family, home and health, and a keen sense of what you want to bring back into your life — travel, time with friends, fun outings! — when it’s safe to do so. You also may have new clarity on what works for you and your family and the courage to live that out in ways you haven’t before.
I hope bright days are to come this year and I’m grateful we’re stepping into whatever comes next together. Happy new year!
