It’s hard to believe that it’s November! Soon, Old Man winter Will be bearing his breath and keeping us inside. So, fellow Wisconsinites, get out and enjoy fall as long as we can!
Here are some fun things to do this month:
• Bundle up and enjoy a scenic hike on a local trail. Breathe in the crisp, fall-almost-winter air and enjoy any last remnants of the changing leaves.
• Rake the leaves in your yard and let the kids jump in them — even if it means you will have to rake all over again!
• Write down a list of things you’re thankful for. Not only will this get you and your kids in the mood for Thanksgiving, but it’ll be a sweet reminder to practice gratitude more regularly.
• Bake cookies!
• Make Thanksgiving decorations, including classic handprint turkeys!
