Follow the light long enough, and you will find summer.
Life is in full bloom, and as magical and beautiful as it all is, the surges of growth and change that unfold this time of year can stir up an undercurrent of overwhelm and angst as we try to keep up with “all the things.”
Running through the edges of spring, in the midst of our busy hustle to finish projects, hit our goals, plant seeds and make plans, it’s easy to bypass the abundance and lush growth that is already blooming from within and around us.
The brightest days are upon us, and the invitation is simple: Turn toward the light, and stand in the sun.
Summer is on its way to remind us that light comes as if birthed from the darkness. This season invites us to bravely show up for what is alive within and around us with a relentless hope, fierce tenderness and presence.
A time of abundance, light and vitality, the season is here to light us up from the inside until we are moved toward our nature to thrive.
Yes. It is in our nature to thrive.
Time to let go, shed all that no longer serves us as we begin to trust in our wild and good nature. It’s time to pursue pleasure, awaken our passions and remember how to be present for it all.
If we let it, summer will remind us that we are here to flourish, for it is only in our flourishing that we can truly nourish and replenish those around us.
Just as nature knows how to seek, face the light and grow, so do we.
With courage and compassion, may we turn toward the light, seek and stand in the sun and show up fully for this vibrant and hope-filled season of summer.
